On Wednesday, 28 October 2026, our Pizza-Karavan is a guest at a primary school in Toroslar/Mersin. The occasion is Cumhuriyet Bayramı, Republic Day on 29 October – and the school is celebrating it with more than 400 pre-ordered pizzas, which we bake right there on site.
REPUBLIC DAY
On 29 October 1923, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk proclaimed the Republic of Türkiye. Ever since, Cumhuriyet Bayramı has been the country's most important public national holiday: streets and schoolyards are decorated with red and white flags, children recite poems, sing the national anthem and celebrate together with teachers and parents. In 2026 the Republic marks its 103rd anniversary.
400 PIZZAS FOR A SCHOOL CELEBRATION
For the celebration our team is preparing more than 400 dough balls – fresh dough and selected ingredients. Baking happens on site in the oven of our Pizza-Karavan, so that every child gets a warm pizza of their own. We are delighted to share this special day with the pupils, teachers and families.
PRIVATE EVENT
The celebration is an internal school event and all pizzas have been pre-ordered, so registration via this page is not possible. Schools, clubs and companies who would like to order from us for their own celebration are always welcome.
